Lime and Basil: Thai Food Cravings

Tagaytay is known as a go-to place to unwind and for its famous delicacies like “Bulalo”. I bet that each one of you already has a must-visit place or restaurant when you go to Tagaytay. But, let us recommend something different or something new to you. Actually, we discover this instagrammable place when all of a sudden we crave for a Thai food during our visit to Tagaytay. We search and browse for a possible nearby restaurant and we ended up trying Lime and Basil Thai Restaurant. To be honest, their food is SUPERB!. This place is definitely worth visiting, plus it is situated only in Alfonso Cavite which is nearby the Tagaytay area.

Serving size is good for 2-3 person. But of course it still depends on your appetite/cravings 🙂

How to go here:

  • From Tagaytay Rotonda, exit towards Tagaytay – Nasugbu highway.
  • Straight ahead until you see Residence Inn Zoo on your left side. (you will pass by bag of beans and Green ATS Bulalohan)
  • Not far from Residence Inn Zoo, at your right side, you will see a signage “Brgy. Sikat” and an Arc, turn right to that road and straight ahead.
  • Around 300 meters from the main road, you will arrive at Lime and Basil.

You can also use “Waze” to easily locate Lime and Basil

If you are planning to visit Lime and Basil during weekends, we highly suggest that you contact them first and have a reservation. They are strictly following the IATF guidelines which limit their capacity to a certain level.
