Where we Stayed:

Palompon Lodge

I really like to recommend this place, cold aircon, clean room, the owner is super nice and even allowed us to check out late, it has strategic location near to stores, “barbecue-han” place at night,

We got our stay for P1,000 thru booking.com or you may contact them to the following numbers I posted.

This is just 5-10 minutes walk from the port of Palompon (Municipal) where will you ride a boat to Kalanggaman

Since the Day tour starts at 5 am and we arrived at Palompon around 6 pm from Tacloban, we need to stay and look an overnight stay to catch the first-day trip the next day.

How to get here? Tell the Van driver that you are going to Palompon Lodge. It is in the “Lincoln” street which is near the Terminal, from there walk for about 3 minutes and you’ll see the building.

Kalanggaman Day tour

( approximately 1 hour -45minutes boat ride from Palompon Municipal to Island.)

Day tour dispatching is from as early as 5 a.m. until 12noon, end of the day tour is 3 pm and you need to go back to your rented boat.

And if you’re only just a few, worry not that you’ll pay and rent the whole boat, you just need to inform the staff at the information desk that you’re a joiner and will wait for other passengers. That saves a lot!
