Guide in applying a Dubai/UAE Tourist Visa for Filipinos

Dubai Visa

Dubai is no longer far from us. Especially now, when there are budget airlines directly flying to Dubai from Manila. We only need 8 1/2 hours of travel time to visit our relatives, friends and loved ones residing in the United Arab Emirates. Plus, we have a chance to explore the country and go to their famous tourist spots like Burj Khalifa (currently the tallest building the world), Atlantis and the Desert Safari. But before we do all of these, we need first to secure a Dubai/UAE Visa. Yup! Philippine Citizens are still required to present a valid Visa to enter the country. How sad 🙁  But to help ease the process, we created a  detailed guide for you on how you can apply for a Dubai/UAE Visa.

Get a Sponsor

Huh? Sponsor? Why would I need this?. Ok! Let me explain, Sponsor is like a guarantor they are the one responsible in case you overstay in the country. That is why It is easier for an individual if he/she knows the sponsor. For example, a relative/ family member or friend. In our case, we have good and generous friends that agreed to become our sponsor. Thank You to my good good friends!

In case you don’t personally know someone in UAE, you can try to check your hotel and airline if they offer sponsorship.

For Airline, Emirates and Eithad are known to have this kind of sponsorship program.
